El niño pintor de la isla de Cuba rescata los contradictorios restos de viejas religiones que su abuelo le ha ido transmitiendo en largas letanías. Una grandeza divina que el olvido va mermando como el mar salobre todo lo roe.
De un gran Dios va quedando un fetiche danzarín y voluble sin rostro, sordo a las plegarias y rituales.
Restituir el poder magnético a los disperses fragmentos del mundo religioso antiguo es el impulso vital que aprecio y admiro en la obra de Carlos Luna.
